Dante's Inner Sanctum

A list of twenty-five personal favourites which have provided me with an ongoing deep inspiration, and twelve directors whom I greatly admire, whose body of work (or select individual films) reflects the stylistics, tone, atmosphere, and subject matter that most impresses me, or tickles my fancy. Very difficult to limit the movie list to twenty-five, but keep in mind, every movie I review I greatly admire for one reason or another.
